After graduation my ideal plan would be to go into an industry career. I want to get into an engineering-related job first to provide myself with some experience in that aspect of the field. I want to be selective in choosing the company that I begin my career with. I want to ensure that the company that I choose has a program related that aids in helping their employees get advanced degrees. During my first year in my career I want
to get into a master’s degree program either focusing on engineering or cyber security. I know there is a market for black women in both of those aspects of computer science so I want to tailor myself so that I am a candidate that is highly sought after.
This summer I participated in my second internship with The Boeing Company in Seattle, WA. I worked under a group that focused on information technology 

I participated in an in-person interview for this position and received a call letting me know that I had a successful interview and was moving along to the second part of the selection process. I have not received final word on my status as of now. I have thought long and hard about whether or not I would join The Boeing Company if I received an offer from either of the programs. I believe that because of the fact that Boeing is an engineering company and any IT career in it would be mainly supporting applications, that I would only join the company if I received an offer from the Engineering program. The Boeing Company offers one of the benefits that I want the most which is supporting advances degrees. The company actually has an unlimited spending limit for a degree in STEM related fields, which is something that I know is not offered anywhere.Post-Graduation Plan Essay Paper

Post Graduation Plans

Ever since I was a child I have always loved to operate computers. My parents tell me that I was obsessed with anything electronic from my childhood and that I had started working my way with a computer when I was very young age. As I grew up, most of my teenage years were spent inside the house and I had realized that I was really addicted to computers. I had a few friends that I would network with as we shared a common passion. Throughout college I have learned to design new websites which might help out in the future. I have managed to create a website network which is a dating site but it is not so common but has helped lots of people in the past few months, this has boosted my morale and given me new ideas of how I can help the community and help the country in so many ways. I would like to design a web network in the future which will help out hopefully in the government mostly for tracking down alias persons who are illegally in the country since they are a threat in the country. The application will help out with the FBI and other government security persons.

Apply for jobs- I plan for my job hunt to include companies other than Boeing; including IBM, Microsoft, Apple, Google, JP Morgan, Bank of America, etc. This should be happening all year long. |
