Read the two chapters to get an understanding of the questions you will answerThink back to a prior announcement or conversation you have had in the workplace regarding expectations (such as a wage freeze, increase/decrease in benefits, promise of promotion etc.). Discuss the way the conversation was framed, the context in which the message was given, and how employees expectations were managed. Discuss what was effective and ineffective about how the message was delivered. How did you or other employees interpret the message? What could be done differently next time?
