Choose a documentary that discusses any topic related to the health and wellness of your mind, body, or spirit. You may need your professor’s approval for your choice.
Carefully watch the film and complete the Documentary Journal #4.
Decide what claims, made by the documentary, you would like to research more. You may or may not be able to research all the claims.
Use scholarly research and other reliable sources to investigate if the claims made by the documentary are truthful.
Write an organized introduction which summarizes the documentary and describes which claims your report seeks to investigate. Make sure to include a detailed thesis statement which explains what you discovered in your investigation.
Include body paragraphs that support each of the main points of your thesis statement. Each paragraph should have at least one quote from your sources, and you should explain how those ideas relate to your thesis statement.
Create a conclusion that lets your reader know why these ideas are so important, and why they might be important to others.
Your paper must adhere to the following guidelines:
6 to 7 pages in length, excluding the Reference or Works Cited page
Double-spaced, Times New Roman/Calibri, 12-point font
APA or MLA format
1-inch margins
Use APA or MLA in-text citations for references to your article and other sources
Have a Reference or Works Cited page
Use at least six sources including the documentary: three scholarly, and three other reliable sources.
Use correct punctuation, grammar, and mechanics

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.
Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.
Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.
The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument
